The 5Point Film Festival continues its unprecedented debut success with an event focused on promoting passion with a conscience and affecting social change. This spring, 5Point honors inspired adventurers who have turned their own individual desire into a determined mission to help others. Through film and thoughtful conversation, we will explore the passions behind this elemental shift away from oneself toward the greater human community and celebrate our common spirit. We hope you will share in our vision as we all gather in Carbondale – in one place, at one time – to promote passion with a conscience and affect social change. Special guests …

Confirmed special guests of the 5Point Festival include world-class mountaineer Conrad Anker, National Outdoor Book award winner and mountaineer Jenni Lowe-Anker, renowned speed climber Hans Florine, Patagonia-sponsored, award-winning climber and comedian Timmy O’Neill, famous free climber Lynn Hill and extreme kayaker and Cosmopolitan’s Bachelor of the Year, Brad Ludden. The Roaring Fork Valley’s own big mountain skier Chris Davenport and mountaineer/climber extraordinaire Neal Beidleman, among others, will also be present.

Outdoor enthusiasts, innovators, sponsors and your filmmaker contemporaries are gearing up for your film on the big screen. The 5Point Film Festival brings sold-out houses of educated, connected moviegoers together with filmmakers and guest speakers for a soulful four-day event.

Enjoy the Roaring Fork Valley with old friends and new. As part of the festival you will receive assistance with your lodging and expenses and have the opportunity to market and sell your film throughout the event. There will be plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle with your fellow filmmakers, event sponsors and passionate audience members.
