“It’s time.”

That is exactly what I said to myself a year ago when I first dared to imagine this new journey, the 5Point Film Festival. It is time to make the time in our busy lives and recognize how fortunate we are to have what we have and to live in such a soulful place. From the very beginning, I couldn’t imagine any location other than Carbondale, here in heart of the Roaring Fork Valley, as the perfect showcase for appreciating stunning outdoor beauty, bringing our community together and making positive change in the world.

It is no longer a dream…here we are! The first annual 5Point Film Festival. Three days of amazing films and lively discussions designed to inspire, engage and educate all of us on everything from environmental conservation to overcoming adversity. There is not a film or a discussion I would miss. Our special guests will share their incredible experiences and our dedicated filmmakers will reveal their extraordinary love for what they do.

My hope is that throughout these three wonderful spring days, you will take the time to visit with us, be inspired to choose adventure (whatever and wherever it may be), pass that spirit along and enjoy this place we call home.
